Literature Text
I had seen the colours of the evening sky,
So I painted.
God said "How DARE you imitate me!"
And He struck me blind.
I had heard the water in the stream,
So I sang.
God said "How DARE you imitate me!"
And He struck me deaf.
I had felt the wind on my face,
So I danced.
God said "How DARE you imitate me!"
And He struck me paralysed.
I had been in the presence of the Universe,
So I sat.
God said "How DARE you imitate me!"
But He didn't know what to strike,
Without striking Himself.
